This is so creepy! o.o I like it!

I feel like this has devastating potential to be an epic, doesn't seem to fit cinematic that much. Like, the from 00:00 - 00:11 could be looping throughout the entire song, with other, perhaps melancholy sounds playing. And if it was going to be sad it should stay at a slow tempo.

Thank you for sharing your opinion :)

Amazing.

I don't know what you could've improved on as I truly feels this encapsulates the feeling of being in a dungeon, lost with no bearings, unaware of what terrors may lurk behind every corner.

It's a great song but the first half feels much more sinister than the rest, and then it's an odd transition to the rest of the song where it feels a little more upbeat, and feels like it was intended for a castle hall, a nordic hall or a guild hall.

SoundChris responds:

Thanks a lot for your review! You are right when you say that the beginning has a more sinister feel than the mid part. The mid-part itself was meant to be more epic trailer music style while the beginning was more "orchestral" like. I wanted to introduce different styles of cinematic music. The beginning is more danny elfman, while the mid-part is more zimmer inspired :D

All th best!

This is an amazing, heart-touching piece. It feels like it could be pulled off best for a credits scene, for a game - after the player beat it and saved like a town or something grand. Very touching.

The bass sounded a bit heavy at times - like at 2:06 onwards. If it was lower it would resonate better to a serene song like this.

What I get from this: A heavy dark infantry raging war into a medieval settlement and approach the castle doors. On the other side there's a brief cinematic that shows the defending army ready for attack (0:20) Then (0:54) the cinematic pans to the underground Dwarven hold of the Castle where they are creating and transporting equipment to the barracks and equipping more men to fight. At 1:26 it shows the archers getting ready on the castle walls, while obscured by the walls. Then (1:43) it shows the dark army once again charging in slow motion until the footage gradually speeds up and they completely mutilate the gate. By 2:00 the gate is destroy and they charge forward into the enemy's castle. Shots from the archers are fired then you see warriors of both side baring their teeth as they charge towards each-other. Then a witch on the dark side smiles while the camera gets an aerial view of the rest of the war.

NEEDLESS TO SAY BUT THIS IS FREAKIN' EPIC. Every song of yours is amazing Mattashi - so amazing I couldn't think upon any way for you to improve except for looping all of your songs so I don't have to do it manually each time they end. Followed :)

Mattashi responds:

You can always download the song and put your media player on loop :P
I really love your imagination btw! xD

Wow this is amazing. All of the elements of a action/battle song I love. Fast paced and plagued with a medieval/fantasy feel. Not to mention the invisible loop is extraordinary

Mattashi responds:

Thanks Keralasys! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Sweetly amazing.

I loved it but I think the tempo should not have changed at 1:20 onwards - and maybe it could've been longer with a loop because I love the beginning.

Mattashi responds:

Thanks for the review! I agree probably shouldn't have changed the tempo but I was kind of experimenting with some new VSTs.
Glad you liked the beginning :)
